The charity, which is located in a hospital in the capital of the Canary island, provides support for children with cancer and their families.
Locals and Anfi staff took part in the tournament as part of the Anfi Group’s ongoing ‘Anfi Cares’ programme of social corporate responsibility.
After the tournament, participants enjoyed a cocktail reception during the awards ceremony, and there was also a prize draw and charity auction.
The event raised €6000, prompting Jose Luis Trujillo, Anfi Group CEO, to comment on the “commendable work” and to reiterate Anfi’s continuing commitment “to support an institution committed to the children who need support now more than ever”.
While the adults were playing golf a group of Pequeño Valiente’s children enjoyed fun and activities laid on by Anfi’s Entertainment team and mascot Benito the Bull.
