RCI has announced that it has added 93 new properties to its network of affiliated resorts since the beginning of 2013, including several in Europe.
“We constantly listen to our members and we know that they want more choice in the types of accommodation and destinations they can enjoy,” said Sean Lowe, managing director RCI Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.
“We have been working to expand our affiliated resort portfolio in our best-loved holiday destinations, as well as bringing some more exotic locations into the network and introducing more experiential resorts such as the fabulous new spa experience resorts which have come on board with us in Turkey.”
Royal Sun Resort in Tenerife, which recently joined RCI’s exchange network, is set on a cliff offering dramatic views over Los Gigantes’ marina and village. The resort offers tastefully designed apartments that are spacious and comfortable, along with several on-site restaurants, two swimming pools, a pool bar and gorgeous sunbathing terraces where guests can take in the striking panoramic views.
Emet Termal Resort & Spa in Turkey, located in a botanic garden in the Emet district of Kütahya, was also recently added to the resort network. The resort has an outdoor pool and spa centre with indoor thermal pools and a Turkish bath.
Another addition is Akasya Vadisi Resort, located approximately 70 kilometres from Ankara in Turkey, where guests can enjoy an in-room whirlpool bath with the same thermal water that is sourced throughout the resort. Accommodation comprises living rooms and fully-equipped kitchens.
The Omer Thermal Hotel and Holiday Village is a city centre resort, in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey. It benefits from private gardens, swimming pools, playgrounds for children, a fitness centre and a cinema.
Another new resort, Club Mahindra Kanatal, is tucked away high above sea level in the mountains of India. The stunning resort blends with the surrounding snow-capped peaks and offers views that seem to stretch on forever. The resort features a spa, restaurant, fitness centre, and many outdoor classes and activities including a rock climbing facility.
Joining The Registry Collection programme, RCI’s luxury exchange network, is Koloa Landing at Poipu Beach. Located on the South Shore of Kauai, Hawaii, the beautiful guest rooms are outshone only by the striking views of the Kauai mountains and sea that surround the property. The resort also boasts two tropical lagoon pools, hot tubs, a fitness pavilion and 24-hour concierge services. The two- and three-bedroom units are extravagant homes away from home, with spacious living and dining areas in addition to the lavish bedrooms
“We are so pleased to welcome these great new properties to our portfolio of affiliated resorts,” said Gordon Gurnik, president, RCI. “These fantastic resorts join more than 4,000 properties from some of the best names in the hospitality business, adding even more flexibility and choice for our members.”
