The Timeshare Association – also known as The Association for Timeshare Owners’ Committees (TATOC) – has launched a new website offering independent timeshare help and information to consumers.

The website, www.timeshare-consumer-advice.co.uk contains a variety of information and facts about the industry, including how timeshare works, the best ways to buy it, consumer’s rights, legislation, the exchange system, scams, bogus buyers and sellers and more. It also seeks to educate and inform those unfamiliar with timeshare and counter some of the bad publicity surrounding the industry.

Harry Taylor, chief executive of TATOC, said: “The website offers free impartial help and information on the timeshare industry and dispels a lot of the myths about it.

“It’s essentially a good news site, and something we hope will encourage potential buyers to find out more about a truly successful holiday product that they may only know through negative media reports and sensational newspaper headlines.”
